  • A “One Stop” place to gather funds/write grants and coordinate and recruit volunteers
  • Organize retired volunteers through organizations like SCORE (Senior Corp of Retired Executives)
  • Coordinate community beautification activities
  • Community clean-up and meet your neighbor’s days
  • Create a “street sponsored” program/ block watch
  • Teams to educate in different areas: (Car maintenance, business plans, personal finance, life skills, job skills, why buy locally)
  • Local Micro bank-Business Loan Assistance Program ($400-500)
  • Develop youth mentoring-all ages-different approaches, career counseling, interviewing skills/work ethics/attend events (big brother/big sister concept)
  • Healthcare through the “Healthcare Tricounty” program
  • Promote tourism and appreciation of natural beauty of area
  • Expand community service requirements for Jr. High and HS students
  • Community Action Plan to tackle “Meth” problem
  • Research need and provide appropriate daycare services
