Colville:Astor School

This is a picture from the corner of Astor and Hofstetter. Hofstetter street was named for the man who is said to have started Colville, John U. Hofstetter. The picture was probably taken in the late 30's or early 40's. In the background the old school house can be seen, long since torn down. Picture provided by SCHS
